Reactivity is what makes your Shiny apps responsive. Placing a function in ui tells Shiny where to display your object. Step 2: Provide R code to build the object. Each function creates a specific type of output. Shiny provides a family of functions that turn R objects into output for your user interface. Reactive expressions save their results, and will only re-calculate if their input has changed.A reactive expression takes input values, or values from other reactive expressions, and returns a new value. You can make your apps faster by modularizing your code with reactive expressions. In our specific example, we also want to concatenate all of the data files together into one data. To load the data, we simply load all the files in the output directory. The most trivial way to save data from Shiny is to simply save each response as its own file on the current server.
